MPM 8/15

Wow.

Where did my summer go?  Although we were constantly on the go, it doesn't seem like we were able to do half the stuff we wanted to.  Camping trips, hikes, playing in the river - - all things we wanted to do, but there just wasn't the time.

We didn't even get to grill that much.  That fact alone is an atrocity.  And sadly, I'm not really even sure how that happened.  Such a pity, really.

Here's the plan for this week.  Looks like this will be another grill-less week...but we'll eat well, I promise!  You'll recognize a few of the meals since they are reappearing this week; we weren't able to get to them for one reason or another.

Monday - Provincial Chicken (new recipe, crockpot)
Tuesday - Pretzel Dogs & Roasted fries with fry sauce (first day of school)
Wednesday - Ham & Ranch Potatoes (new recipe, crockpot)
Thursday - Pancakes
Friday - Homemade Pizza
Saturday - Mexican Potato Casserole & Green Chile Rice
Sunday - Tomato Basil Soup with rice

    hi, visiting from MPM - new too. saw quite a few breakfast-for-dinner's today, makes me want a steaming plate of pancakes and sausage! lol! saw your recipe for pancake mix and it's easy!! I usually use Bisquick but like this idea and have bookmarked it - thanks!!

  2. Thanks for stopping by! We love the pancake mix - I always have the ingredients on hand for the mix, and it makes for a great, quick meal. In fact, if I'm out of bread, I'll make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the pancakes. The boys think that's quite the treat! Also, I'll make 2-3 batches worth and freeze them for fast breakfasts, or a snack.
